Happy Halloween

Halloween is right around the corner!  You know what that means...trick-or-treating, one of kids favorite times of the year.  In order to let Halloween be a holiday that is more inclusive for everyone, the Teal Pumpkin Project was created.  This helps to include those with food allergies to the fun of trick-or-treating.  Learn more about the Teal Pumpkin Project by watching the video above or going to their website:  Teal Pumpkin Project!

Here's how you can take part:

  1. Provide non-food treats for trick-or-treaters.
  2. Place a teal pumpkin in front of your home to indicate to passersby that you have non-food treats available.
  3. Display a free printable sign or premium poster from FARE to explain the meaning of your teal pumpkin.

We want everyone to have a good time on Halloween.  If you have questions about your food allergies...give us a call at (414) 529-8500 or go to myaasc.com to find out more about what we are able to do for you at the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center.

Wishing everyone a Happy Halloween!  What's your favorite kind thing to hand out to trick or treaters?
