Allergy and related disorders affect children much differently than adults. Studies have shown that uncontrolled allergic problems affect kids’ ability to learn in school, and parents get very anxious and frustrated when they see their young child suffer. That is why we make every effort to accommodate new patients, especially our youngest ones, as quickly as possible. It is our goal to see all patients as soon as possible, typically within one to three weeks.
Our physicians both bring their unique expertise when caring for your child. Dr. Steven has a unique perspective since he was diagnosed with asthma and allergies at the age of three. Although Dr. Steven initially trained in internal medicine, he received extensive training in pediatric allergy/immunology during his allergy fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He has built on that experience by continuing to see and treat children of all ages throughout his career, starting in 1996. Dr. Bukstein is board‐certified in Allergy/Immunology, Pediatric Pulmonology and General Pediatrics and brings more than 30 years of experience to make sure your child has access to the best care possible.
