Depending on your availability and preferences, we offer two different options for all new patient appointments.
Virtual Hybrid Visit
Initial consult online
Testing at our Greenfield or Racine office as needed
Follow up consult online
In-Person Visit
Initial consult in-person at our Greenfield or Racine location
Separate visit for any testing needed
Follow up consult in-person or online
The vast majority of our patients choose the Virtual Hybrid Visit option as it offers the most flexibility in scheduling, and allows the full evaluation to involve only one trip to the office. Insurance and scheduling limitations prevent testing on the same day as a consultation, so patients seen in-person at the office for their initial consultation will be scheduled again on a different day for any testing that is needed.
The initial consultation serves to determine what types of testing are needed, so that testing can be scheduled appropriately. Patients requiring lung function testing are asked to refrain from eating or drinking anything other than water for three hours prior to the appointment. Skin testing requires avoiding antihistamines for 3-7 days prior to the appointment. Specific preparation for testing appointments will be discussed at the initial consultation. Several tests are available at both locations while a few types of testing are available only at our main office location in Greenfield.
We accept most insurances, but you should always check with your insurance company before any medical visit to find any referral requirements or to determine the financial obligations they require. We ask for your copay at the time of your visit.
