Pollen Counting at AASC
Posted on April 12, 2017

Pollen Counting is now in full swing in the AASC office.  Did you know that we are the only location in Southeastern Wisconsin that perfoms daily pollen and mold counts? We have a machine on the roof of our building that gathers the data on a slide over the course of a 24-hour period and is read (counted) by microscope by our staff.

The higher the counts are, the more likely you will suffer if you are allergic to that plant/mold. Tree numbers are especially high in the spring when everything is starting to bloom, weed/ragweed is more prevalent in the late summer through the first frost, and molds tend to be higher after rain.

For up to date pollen information, please visit our website at myaasc.com. The pollen counts will appear on our home page in the right column under our hours.

We also have a website that houses historical information about the pollen in the area. Please visit www.milwaukeepollen.com to see that data.

If you have questions on our pollen counts and what the numbers mean to you, contact our office today!
